Adrenaline

We are back in the studio again tonight to record the guitar tracks and vocals for “Stand” and put the finishing touches on “Come Alive”.  The recording studio is totally kick ass.  It is first rate all the way.  Nothing like being behind the Lucas console.  “These are not the droids you are looking for.”  The Diezel and Mesa are ripping!  Both songs will be available on myspace very soon.  “Come  Alive” will also be handed off to the folks at the Sherlock’s and 94.5 the Buzz…so keep you ears peeled for St. Patty’s Day promos.  Call in and request the song if you dig it.  We will also be performing both tunes at the 2 back-to-back shows this weekend at Bourbon Street in Katy.  This is a kick ass venue and it gets pretty naughty.  We will have plenty of tats to stick on you.  We’ll need photos too for the tat gallery.  Be sure to bring your sexy.  Our stage is your stage.

8am, the early blog – zzzzzzz

Today is the first day we hit the studio to start laying down the track for “STAND”.   We are all super pumped about recording.  We will be taking photos and whatnots to give you guys an inside peek.  Russell P may even create on of his famous videos.  I know you’ve seen the unemployment videos on you tube:)

Where have you been?

Many of our fans have been writing in and asking about our next performances.  Why haven’t you been performing for the past couple of weeks?  We took the time off to write our original music and it seems to be flowing well.  The music writing process is very easy with Adrenaline…even though we all still work full time jobs, etc.  It would be madness to sit around all day and write music!!

How hard is it to write your music?

For me, since I work as a 3d animator and motion graphic artist, creativity is very easy for me….it’s like a faucet.  I always start out without any idea of what the outcome will be, then the ideas flow…and then…out comes something bad ass:)  It is the same with music. Once I plug in the les paul and crank up the diezel, the energy flows out…the tone is so bad ass.  Almost every time I plug in, I write something cool.  It may not always fit the Adrenaline style of music…but it starts with the jam.

What about the new tunes?

We currently have 4 tunes we are working on.  They are in various stages of completion.  STAND, COME ALIVE, CRUSH YOU and the not yet titled tune about a STALKER.  Yeah, even at this stage of the game, we’ve had to go through some strange dealings.  Every time we play the tunes, we develop new ideas and thus starts the evolution of a song.  Most of our tunes we write have a little bit of anger in them.  Definitely, a ton of emotion.  Like with most music, there is a message from the musicians stand point, but most fans will may relate to it in a different way.  Our goal is just to be able to connect with our fans.

Need more coffee…someone bring me a Starbucks!!!

We have been getting great response to the new original song, “STAND” that we have been performing. Everyone has been asking when we will be recording. We will be dropping down the tracks in our first studio session in the next couple of weeks. The studio is totally money. We’ll be recording on the same console that Lucas used for Star Wars…sup wit dat? May the Force be with you!

By the time we finish recording “STAND”, we should have the next original track ready to perform live. We will also start working on storyboard ideas for the music video to “STAND”. You know we do it top notch…so expect nothing less.

We have a couple of super bad ass shows coming up soon. Seabrook Beach club for spring break with girls gone wild. This is the chance for all our totally hot fans to get really naughty. St. Patty’s Day is also right around the corner. We’ll be throwing down in a big way at Sherlock’s on Westheimer. Get there early so you can get in the gate. Last year when we played, people had to wait over an hour to get in. We’ll keep you posted as these events get closer.
